Based on my discussion with him, I decided to give it a try. So, I decided to call Ivan (he prefers phone calls so he can focus on your concerns without delayed back and forth emails), to get a feel for him and what he has to offer. I was overall pleased with the tune by 2 Wheel Dynoworks, but I couldn't help but think that Ivan's reputation for perfection and precision might have produced an even better tune? However, I just paid for a flash and how could I justify spending more money for another tune that might or might not be better? Well, I felt enticed to try and I figure that it was not a huge amount of money and if the bike rode any better, it was well worth it. Of course, with how things go, it was the day after I got my ECU back that Ivan came out with his magical tune. Here 2 Wheel DynoWorks review - 2019 Ninja 1000 - Stock Exhaust is my review on that experience. So, I heard of 2 Wheel Dyno Works and decided to give them a try. Thinking that Ivan was not going to make a tune, I would try something else. However, as time passed members kept talking about how any tune would make the bike ride smoother. This was actually a good thing at the time because I swore off tuning because of prior bad experiences (with other bikes).and figured I wouldn't be tempted. However, it was not available for this generation of the Ninja. Within a week or so, I was hearing all these great things about how much Ivan's flash transformed the bike. When I purchased my 2019, just about a year ago I joined this forum shortly thereafter. Many of us here and in the motorcycling community know the great reputation of Ivan's ECU flash. However, it would fill the bed of a pick up truck because it was so large. When they described the ecu they said that if they needed to print an instruction manual for it, that it was possible to do. It was a new bike and it had an updated ecu as compared to the older bike. I remember reading about the new 2009 z圆. It's a huge task, and takes years to figure out. Ivan's software is the only one that will access what's needed to be able to make the throttle "dimmer switch" like as oposed to an on/off switch. The bike made excellent "full power" but theĮven on a 50cc scooter, you dont ride around with the throttle at 100% open, constantly. Total cost was somewhere near 700-800, and that didnt include the full exhaust, or labor needed to remove those secondairy butterflies.

We had to remove the secondary throttle plates as well as adding the fce. Back then, Ivan's flash ( this bike) did some very basic things in the ecu and relied on a power commander for fueling. If we were to go back to 2012, motomans opinion would be somewhat valid.

However, when they see evidence that's against what they believe, they change their mind and make future decisions and recommendations based on this new, updated information. Intelligent people usually have opinions. I dont know if Ivan has sold 3 or these new flashes, or 300. There is nothing in it, for me, if someone buys a flash.
